Goals are helpful to have, even if they’re just mental and there is no consequence if you don’t meet it. When I started this blog earlier this year, my goal was to slowly build to a hundred subscribers (“followers” sounds funny to me) by the end of the year. I reached my goal last Friday, so I am quite happy about that :) In an age where I have friends with over a million subscribers on new media websites, a hundred people may seem insignificant. But because I have not publicized this blog anywhere other than using hashtags and told anyone I know other than P, that means each one of this blog’s subs are strangers and chose to click “follow” because they liked something about some post. I find that very meaningful. I value each sub, each comment, and each Like. Really. In my About Me section, I say I call this blog my “21st century stranger at the bar,” because like with a stranger at a bar, I can express myself freely here. Thanks for being my strangers at the bar. A virtual round on me :)

Congratulations!
