A Glow in the Dark

Saw this on Fancy today and was mesmerized. Bioluminescent phytoplankton. National Geographic has an article on the science behind it… Or what they think is the science behind it, as it’s still not entirely clear.

I find it amazing that in this day and age, there are still so many things about this world that we don’t understand or can’t explain. I’m always humbled by the thought. We can fly airplanes, walk on the moon, visit the depths of the earth, have smartphones and robots, but we can’t explain the complexities of nature which have been here for thousands of years.

This is such a beautiful sight sigh… Can’t wait to see it one day.
