Level

Today I read an interview of an individual with an overinflated ego and no sense of humility or even social common sense. It was a very offensive read, but I also felt sorry for him because he seemed oblivious to his idiocy and mediocrity.

The people who impress the most are those who have achieved great things in life but remain humble and down to earth.  There is not a single person on this earth who should feel like they are better than others.  On the flip side, I personally feel like we should work so we never give others the opportunity to make ourselves feel below them.  Confidence and humility.  Be the one to wield the power so that you can make sure it’s used right.

I just paired this picture with this post because it was dark and moody and cool furniture makes me feel better.  It was taken at Clift Hotel in San Francisco recently.
