P and I stopped by an album listening party the other day at an unexpectedly cute venue, Marvimon House. It was just north of DTLA in a sketchy looking part of town, and you can see in the last picture that it’s not much to look at from the outside. I think LA likes it like that… Like secret societies. Anyway, it was a great venue, with an intimate indoor and outdoor space, stage, multiple bars, and a VERTiCAL GARDEN!! :) It was kind of funny being in this rather “industry” scene and being more focused on the succulents on the wall. I also especially like the picture of the dancer with the brick wall and the couple in a shelter of light.

It was good times. I really respect people who have worked hard to achieve great success and still remember to be humble and appreciative. And I am craving those carnitas tacos.
